Legacy of Impact 2026

With 325 guests in attendance, Legacy of Impact brought together Holocaust Survivors, students, educators, and community leaders for a powerful and moving program rooted in remembrance, responsibility, and the shared commitment to shaping a more compassionate future.

Throughout the program, Survivor testimonies reminded us why this work matters. Rosette Goldstein’s powerful words reinforced the responsibility we all share to listen, learn, and carry these lessons forward.

Students were at the heart of the event. From Jewish Foundation for the Righteous (JFR) Goldsmith Student Scholars to Holocaust Education Advocacy Leaders (HEAL) and the Kindness Social Media Contest winners, they demonstrated what it means to move beyond learning history to actively shaping the future – standing against hate and leading with empathy and courage. We are especially grateful to the Mendez Family Foundation for their vision and generosity in launching the Kindness Social Media Contest, empowering students to use their voices to promote kindness and respect.

This year, the impact of our work is reflected in the engagement of 497 JFR Goldsmith Student Scholars of the Holocaust, 88 HEAL, and 22 winners of the Mendez Family Foundation Kindness Social Media Contest.

Together, these students are not only learning history but actively carrying its lessons forward through leadership and action. Through these efforts and partnerships, we are also on track to reach 100,000 students this school year.

The event also recognized individuals whose dedication has made a lasting impact. We were honored to present the Salton Spirit of Service Award to Ibby Lucas and the Naftaly Award of Excellence to Sheri Crowley. We also celebrated over 30 years of service from Ronni, whose beloved puppet program has introduced generations of young students to meaningful lessons with creativity and care.

We are deeply grateful to our Honorary Chairs, Linda and Marc Gordon, our Board of Directors, and our dedicated community of supporters whose leadership and generosity make this work possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous for their continued partnership in strengthening Holocaust education, and to the Palm Beach County School District, whose collaboration allows this work to reach students in meaningful and lasting ways.

As we close our 15th anniversary year, we are reminded that this work continues because of the generosity of our donors. Together, we are ensuring that the lessons of the Holocaust remain relevant, meaningful, and carried forward for generations to come.

Together, we remember. Together, we educate. Together, we carry it forward.
