inSIGHT’s Annual Membership Appreciation Event was held on March 6th at BallenIsles. Almost three hundred supporters attended the program featuring Arno Michaelis, a former white supremacist skinhead, and Pardeep Kaleka, the son of a man killed in the violent terrorist attack at a Sikh Temple in 2012. These very different men founded Serve2Unite, which works with students to create compassionate, inclusive climates in their schools and communities.

The audience was enthralled with the story of how Arno and Pardeep breached a great divide to find forgiveness, deep friendship and a mission to fight against hate.
