I•SERIES 2024-2025: What Makes Me Tic

As a teenager, Pamela was diagnosed with one of the most severe cases of Tourette’s in the country, along with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and a deep well of frustration. She struggled for years with depression and suicidal thoughts, wishing she could erase her differences. But over time, she shifted her perspective, transforming her challenges into the driving force behind her success.
Today, Pamela is a globally recognized advocate for disability and mental health, as well as a professional stand-up comedian. Her stories of growing up in a body she couldn’t control are captivating, powerful, sometimes heartbreaking, and always fearlessly funny.
In this I•SERIES, Pamela Rae Schuller brought a fresh take on inclusion, using comedy and storytelling to spark meaningful change. With humor at the heart of her message, she empowered communities to embrace inclusion with practical steps and a renewed perspective.
